This front garden was reimagined to create a welcoming, functional entrance.

Porcelain, though not a typical choice, was the perfect material. Its resilience in shaded conditions and ability to withstand the moisture-rich environment during winter made it an ideal choice for this project.

A concealed clay paver pathway meanders through the woodland floor planting, offering an alternative route to the rear garden. Steel edging defines the planting borders, meadow and pathway

In close collaboration with the clients and contractor – this transformation has successfully created a functional garden that beautifully complements the entrance of the home.

Planting

A woodland meadow mix was introduced under the mature Magnolia tree, with a mix of native bulbs and perennials and ferns emerging in Spring. Mahonias line the path, and clusters of Yew topiary provide structure and visual appeal.
