Director and Head Garden Designer, Lucy, graduated with distinction from the London College of Garden Design in 2022. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, she has built a deep understanding of plants, materials, and how great design transforms outdoor spaces.
Working alongside some of the UK’s leading garden designers, Lucy has developed a design approach that blends creativity, practicality, and a strong connection to nature. She now leads a dedicated team delivering thoughtful, sustainable, and wildlife-friendly garden designs across Bristol and the South West.
Lucy is closely involved in every stage of the design journey – from the initial concept and layout planning to the build, planting, and final detailing. She also provides tailored aftercare and maintenance guidance to ensure each designed space continues to flourish long after completion.
As Director and Co-Designer, Amber brings artistic vision and a strong sense of style to Foat & Griffin. With a degree in Interior Architecture, Amber has built a career that combines her design expertise with a passion for horticulture and landscape design. She also oversees the maintenance side of the business, ensuring that all gardens remain in top condition.
Having worked alongside Lucy for several years, the decision to co-found F&G in early 2023 was a natural progression. Amber’s skill as an illustrator enables her to translate early design concepts into clear visual representations, giving clients an early preview of their garden’s transformation.
Amber’s attention to detail and dedicated, thoughtful approach ensure that F&G gardens remain fresh, contemporary, and well-maintained.
